Tea/Coffee Cup
Fine China/Dinnerware
Semi-Translucent
White with Gold Trim
Made in Japan
Vintage
No cracks or chips
Standard Size
2 ¼" T
3 5/8" Across the top
Around the bottom it is not perfectly smooth. There are not any chips, but it is rough like it was hand made. I have examined it thoroughly and there is one tiny place that is hard to tell if it is part of the way it was made or if there is a tiny nick in the glaze.
There is a manufacturing flaw in the side - between the rim and the thin ring. It looks like a small bubble/raised area at the top (near the rim) and then it spreads out and becomes smooth.
I cannot tell what dinnerware set pattern this came from.
If anybody recognizes anything about this cup. I would appreciate the information.
